Lawn Care Assistant Thrive Landscapes Ltd is seeking an energetic, fit individual to join our team. Position: This is a part-time/full-time position working a possible forty hours per week. We are located in Parksville and serve Qualicum Beach to Parksville and all places in between. Position Description: Working under direct supervision, the chosen applicant(s) will be responsible for assisting their Lawn Care Team Leader in the care of Lawns and Turf for our valued clients. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Adhering to proper uniform standards * Arriving at work on time, ready and prepared to work * Demonstrating a positive disposition * General care for clients Lawn and Turf * Operate equipment such as line trimmer, lawn mower, leaf blower, core aerator, dethatcher, fertilizer spreader, lawn seed spreader, general hand tools & comfortable working on ladders * Prepare and maintain up to date work records * Willing to participate in other work operations as required Qualifications: * A willingness to learn new skills and develop your abilities * Some experience cutting lawns is an asset You will possess the following: * Ability to operate tools and equipment necessary to complete day to day tasks * Proven planning, problem solving organizational and interpersonal skills * Must be medically and physically fit to perform all job tasks * Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing * Valid BC Cass 5 Drivers License is required * Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions Salary Range: * Starting Pay $15.00/hour - $18/hour (Depending on Experience) In addition to the rate of pay, we offer other attractive incentives: * Excellent training and development opportunities * Clothing and Boot Allowance For more details, please send an email and tell us about yourself and please include a current resume.
