HCA's Needed to Join the Harmony House Team!

We are currently looking for one or two HCA's to fill out our team at Harmony House! Must have current HCA registration number, current First Aid, current immunizations including TB, and a clean criminal record check. Who we are: Harmony House is a health care facility unlike any other. Located in Nanaimo, British Columbia near Westwood Lake Park and the Bethlehem Retreat Centre, is a complex care facility for high care medical needs. Harmony House particularly specializes in brain and spinal cord injuries. The home has licensed nurses on hand 24 hours a day. The home is meant to be just that - a beautiful home that residents can call their own. Harmony House blends into its gracious residential environment and looks just like any other home in the neighbourhood. Inside, wide spacious rooms make movement easy for those who live there. The living room, dining room, family room and kitchen are warm and inviting and offer residents all the comforts of home including a large television, and a patio with lovely views of the city. There are six bedrooms, all private and all equipped with bed lifts, there is a large tub with a ceiling lift, a wheelchair accessible shower and much more. The 2,700 square foot house is within easy reach of the highway and the city, yet in a peaceful and serene setting. Each person who comes to Harmony House to live will be individually assessed and will receive personal care. Each person will have his or her own personalized care plan and each client is treated as an individual. Meals are prepared by the staff and all the client's needs will be looked after. Clients are encouraged to make their rooms as personal as possible. After all, this is their home.
