Free: Funky Cockerels

If you think my rooster, Simon, is a stunner (& you'd be right) now is your chance to own a chip off the old block. These two cockerels come from one of my hatching egg customers who already have a rooster and can't keep them. The clock is ticking .... they have a date with the butcher March 8th (could be extended to March 14th at the very latest). Their dad (last photo) is a Silver Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben x Silver Laced Polish, their mothers are probably Appenzeller x Easter Eggers (especially the orange one). They were born at the beginning of September and have started to crow and mate with the hens. Good news if you want to hatch some funky babies of your own. Very people friendly and gentle. If you want to (figuratively) kill two birds with one stone by saving one or both of these guys and enhancing your flock let me know ASAP. They are on Gabriola, but I can bring to Nanaimo Mon-Thurs for downtown pick up.
