Position: Civil Foreperson & Superintendent Salary: $38 - $45 per hour The Civil Foreperson manages workers, motivating them to complete projects on schedule. The Foreperson ensures that the crew complies with site rules and regulations while monitoring their work quality. They will also collaborate with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project proceed as planned. They will read blueprints and construction plans, maintain equipment and manage paperwork. They may also work on the project site alongside the crew when needed. The Civil Superintendent is primarily responsible for all aspects of project management on multiple worksites, including planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish. The Superintendent monitors workers and subcontractors to ensure that duties are being completed in an efficient, effective, and safe manner. They must have a strong dedication to health and safety in the workplace, ensuring all workers and subcontractors perform their duties in accordance with Hazelwood Construction’s policies and procedures.
