The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is the heart around which software that meets and exceeds customers' expectations is created, and healthy and empowering teams are formed and sustained over a long period. At ICBC the SDLC is embedded in all stages of software development and is tightly connected with Agile practices. At ICBC adherence to the standardized SDLC enhances development delivery and minimizes project risks and costs associated with alternative methods of production. As a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Manager you will have the opportunity to manage a diverse work portfolio: * Standardized framework that defines Software delivery activities and deliverables in partnership with other technical teams * Optimizing the speed of development by leveraging adherence to Agile methodology focused on incremental changes and additions to the software (including all phases, Inception, Construction, Transition, and Operation) * Managing low-code applications and establishing and sharing governance across the organization * Tight collaboration with other technical teams (Architecture, Middleware, Testing, Environments, Systems Integration, and others) Position Requirements * 3 – 5 years in Agile software delivery. * 2 - 3 years in managing Low-code delivery teams in an enterprise setting. * Experience with managing software delivery practice implementations at scale, enabling multiple agile teams to work in concert toward a common goal. * Knowledgeable in fostering a team environment that encourages team members to seek help from within the team and support other teams to achieve delivery goals. * Knowledgeable in systems Integrations in an enterprise environment (application programming interface (API), creating and maintaining interfaces for systems communication). * Being an avid learner and thoughtful people leader whose knowledge of best practices, emerging trends, and changes is leading the way in modern software.
