Room for rent in ammmmaaazzzzzing character suite! Looking for long term renters only (9 months minimum) When I'm home I am either resting from work (landscaping), painting, or studying (VIU), so this is for a mature student or working professional who also appreciates having the home-space as a peaceful sanctuary to retreat to. Regular life noise is totally okay (Love throwing on some loud music, listening to a podcast while I cook, dancing etc) but this will be a fit for someone who finds comfort in practicing direct communication, the mellower side of life and is oriented toward a holistic lifestyle. There's some other awesome folks living in the building, so we've got a nice little community forming here. (Could also be open to renting the room as a studio space for an artist, &etc.) Space to garden! Right on the edge of downtown Nanaimo. Close to bus stops. 15 min walk to downtown core, great coffee, shopping, Nanaimo Rec Center & 20 min to VIU. Rent is $700/month (includes utilities), wifi is $22/month. (*plus one time cost of $63.46 for equipment - see below) Pets could be considered (I think there is a pretty steep pet deposit (~$900)) *The wifi is super cheap (yay!) because we share it with the two other separate apartments in the house. To make this happen we all split the cost of the equipment needed, so a "buy in" of $63.46 is also required. This will be returned if/when you move out. *Nov. 1 as a move in date also an option :)
