Wanted: A nice place to hang my hat

i am a non smoking senior,with no pets. I recently retired as a teacher. I am respectful and quiet. I love to walk and take photos. I enjoy bbqing, I was employed on ships, both military and merchant, before getting into the education field. Love the water and I sail and kayak. I am looking to rent in a nice place. You may know of a place. I have looked at live aboards (no slips available), house sits, helpx. I have been looking from Duncan to Nanaimo. I am good at renovations and maintenance. Found a nice place that was taken off the market for a relative's need. Now the friend's stop gap was needed. The 48 hours is goal doe not seem obtainable.Thanks f or consideration.
