WANTED: looking for a dog friend for my dog

(Nanaimo) My hours have changed at work and I will be out of the house from 10 am til 7 pm. The problem with that is, I have a almost 2 year old shihtzu terrier mix who is not use to being home alone. My husband comes home from work around 5:30 pm and I just think that's too long for him to be alone. Looking to see if there is a friend he can visit during the day or something. I am available all evenings and weekends to return the favour if you need your pup looked after. My little guy is named Toby. He is house trained and super sweet!! He LOVES people, loves kids even more. Alternatively, I'd be open to paying for services as well. I tried to look into Rover.com but I think it's a bit too much to pay $25 for a 30 min visit. My dog is super low maintenance, just likes being around people. Let me know if you are interested or have any suggestions Thanks
