Shipper / Website Assistant

The Harbour Chandler is a marine and fishing store. We sell everything from screws, paints, and clothing. The store is very busy in the spring and summer months. We're looking for full time. The store hours are Mon to Sat 9-5, Sun 9-3. (Hours will change seasonally) You must be flexible to work these days. Must be able to work weekends. Competitive wages offered based on experience. This position is temporary for our high season from end of January to end of September. The Harbour Chandler is a very fun and exciting place to work. The shipper position entails processing online/phone orders, packaging the order up for safe and efficient shipping, choosing the most cost-effective shipping method, and completing the shipment. You must also be able to help with other tasks like updating the website and inventory system. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES ● Packaging orders for shipping ● Shipping orders out ● Processing online/phone orders ● Updating website with new products ● Updating the inventory system ● Helps in other duties requested by senior staff REQUIRED ● Outgoing and friendly personality ● Good communication skills and able to take instructions from others ● Good work ethic ● Self motivated and time management skills ● Organizational skills ● Moderate computer skills ● Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel ● Basic math Please email your resume to andrea@harbourchandler.ca.
