Conveniently located directly across the street from Vancouver Island University, Great West Student Residences is a great option for students looking for a quiet, secure, clean and modern place to call home. The building is only 7 years old and boasts beautiful finishings like marble counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, crown moldings and huge bright windows. Each student is guaranteed a private bedroom with locking door. Our residents come from all across Canada and the World. Our management team works hard to help everyone feel at home and assist those new to Canada to get settled. INCLUDED IN RENT: * Furnished, private Bedroom including double extra-long bed, desk/chair, wardrobe cabinet * Kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, two burner stove-top * Bathroom with shower * Heat, light and hot water * Free WiFI in Common Rooms * Access to 3 Common areas with additional cooking facilities/oven, couches, tables, television * Indoor Bike storage * Secured premises including cameras, key card entry and on-site management * Coin operated laundry facility on site We have TWO types of rooms: 1st OPTION is -Single Suite --one student-includes bathroom and kitchen. 2nd OPTION is - Shared Suite --each unit designated for two students including private bedroom, shared kitchen and bathroom Rental Rates: Single Suite (1 bedroom) -- $3,700 per semester Single Suite (1 bedroom) - $925 per month (July/August only) Shared Suite (2 bedroom) -- $3,200 per person, per semester Shared Suite (2 bedroom) $800 per month/per person (July/August only) Please note: Proof of enrollment in Post-Secondary education is required to reside at Great West Student Residences. Priority may be given to returning residents, as well as applicants staying for two or more semesters. At this time, International Students arriving in Canada must complete their quarantine before moving into the building. We are now accepting applications for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021.
