Using the same theory as the old pole lamps, the top end is spring loaded and the unit fits nicely into a room with 8 foot ceilings. (any more people in the store and it gets hard to maintain 6 feet apart.) We also have hand sanitizer readily available at the entrance of the store; which can be used at any time, entering and exiting the store. We also have Plexiglas up at the til.
