This is a fairly new business with great earning potential, low overhead and a lot of room for growth. Most of the business is done in cash. Business: www.scoopapoop.ca I started by running the business on a small scale in City of Nanaimo to assess viability, and the model and market look great. I have grown it to as large as I can by myself given my limited spare time (have a day job). Clients are coming organically without any need for active marketing, and I have even had to turn some work down. You could speed client attraction up with some targeted marketing, for which I have ideas. The "back-end" of the business is very simple and all run through Google Docs. The bulk of the work is making site visits. This business can take two directions: 1) you are the sole owner and operator and do all the work yourself; or, 2) you manage the back end and hire a worker or two. The second option lends itself very well to being a side gig with good earning potential. Also, the more clients you get, the more concentrated they become, and the better your earnings per hour. It's already a very good hourly rate. Reason for sale: I am serious in my career and was recently promoted and have a lot more responsibility. I also have other projects on the side and I don't have the bandwidth for this business. If things were different I would be doing option 2 above without question.
