$525 · OBO. PEAVEY RADIAL PRO 500 DRUMS WITH RARE 18” KICK DRUM

Up for sale is this four piece shell pack of Peavey 500 series Radial Pro drums, in very good used condition and all with brand new batter heads. What makes these Peavey drums unique is the patented Radial Bridge System. The idea behind the Radial Bridge System was to create head tension without weighing down the shell with lugs and bolts that interfere with its resonance. The head tension is taken by heavy hoops that support the heads with no mounting hardware attached to the shells I believe these drums are from the period shortly after 1996, as the bass drum and two toms are wrapped in purple sparkle, which was introduced in that year. The snare drum is in matt black. Details are: Bass drum 18" x 16" deep, with new Aquarian Force batter head and Evans eq3 resonant head. I have never seen another kick drum of this size in the Radial Pro 500 range. Hanging tom 10" x 9" deep with new Aquarian Studio X batter and Remo Ambassador resonant head Hanging tom 14" x 12" deep with identical heads as above. Snare drum 14" x 7" deep, with new Aquarian Texture Coated batter and what looks like the original snare side head. The set comes with tom arm mounts and clamps for both toms (the snare stand and two stand bases are shown only for display). Unfortunately, the previous owner removed the badges from the bass and toms. The original badge is present on the snare drum. But there is no mistaking the unique identity of these drums! All four drums are in excellent condition, and they sound amazing! Radial Pro drums ceased manufacture in 2002, so this is a rare opportunity to acquire a piece of American drum history!
