New class now available! The Connection Course focuses specifically on getting and keeping your dog attentive to and aware of you so you can accomplish whatever goals you have for yourself and your dog- whether its simple obedience commands or a better connection in agility work or management of a rambunctious or reactive dog. While food is used in this course, it is used in a limited and ingenious way-we teach the dog to solve food puzzles to get his reward for good work. Even dogs that are not food motivated enjoy the challenge of solving the puzzles and you become more than just a treat dispenser. WHO CAN TAKE THE COURSE? Any dog of any age with any level of training can take this course. Its a perfect introduction to training for young puppies and if your dog already knows the basics, this will greatly enhance your existing skills! It is also awesome for dogs that are doing agility or any other dog sport at any level. INFORMATION / COST The course is 6 weeks long and the cost is $150 plus the cost of the puzzles (approx. $ 40). Lessons are emailed out on Wednesdays and class meets on Sundays for those who would like coaching or have questions. Attendance at class is OPTIONAL-if you feel you are doing well, have no questions and need no help, you do not have to attend. WHAT WILL I GET OUT OF THIS COURSE? When you finish this course you will have a really good understanding of what your dog needs from you to stay attentive and aware when the leash is on and even when its not.   I love this course- you and your dog will enjoy working together, it will enhance your everyday life and inspire you to do more with your dog.
