Selling my trusty 2013 Macbook pro, used exclusively as a school computer at VIU- I've since upgraded to an iPad with the Apple Pencil. I've since found out the battery will not charge on my older Macbook Pro here- even after being plugged in for hours the battery sits at 1% life and immediately shuts off if unplugged. A new battery kit would cost ~$115 online if you had the technical know-how to do it yourself. You could re-sell this puppy for $750-800 with a fixed battery and profit off of my lack of that kind of skill.
