$1,000 · Chemainus to Qualicum

Senior woman w/own transportation looking for, ideally, a ground level 1.5 to 2 bedrooms suite/apt., or a place with lots of storage in this area. I am quiet and creative, wish to relocate from the Cowichan Valley to the area between Chemainus and South Nanaimo.. Love animals, but have no pets currently. I want an unfurnished place, and if there's lots of storage available, even better. I also need off-street parking, on-site laundry (W/D) and if I could do a bit of container gardening on a patio or near my door with a small sitting area, that would be a positive. Ocean view would be a bonus. I am pensioned and comfortable with $850 - $1000 if it includes utilities. Prefer a suite to an apartment, but if there is a balcony and an elevator if not at ground level, will be considered. I am dependable and can supply references. I am in no hurry, have not given notice at my current residence because I want to be sure and satisfied with my next living arrangement.
