The money goes to cover the costs of running the shop and the outreach activities we are involved in. Established in early 2012, Hub City Cycles Community Co-operative has been a fixture in downtown Nanaimo. Part of our organization is devoted to operating a full-service bike shop. We repair and recondition donation bikes and offer them for sale at very fair prices. We also provide space for members of the Co-op to work on their own bikes, get help with repair/replacement questions, and further their knowledge of bicycle mechanics. Donation bikes are greatly appreciated and help go towards keeping the shop running.
