I have 1 furnished room to rent in my small, 3 BDRM, 1.5 bthrm clean home in Whiskey Creek for one non smoking female. It's located in a quiet rural area near the Mt Arrowsmith foothills with many options of wooded trails, rivers, oceans and lakes nearby. A short walk to a gluten free/organic bakery and cafe down the street. You will require a vehicle to travel to town centers. Whiskey Creek gas station and store ~ 2km, Coombs ~ 10mins, Qualicum ~ 10mins, North Nanaimo ~ 30mins, Port Alberni ~ 30mins The room is furnished with a double bed, dresser, nightstand dresser, and has a small closet with shelving. Wifi is included (within reason and if a higher data plan is required that will be additional.) hydro, water,sewer, garbage is included. I live consciously aware of resources and do my best to not be wasteful (turn off lights when I leave a room and the thermostat down when I leave the house/when I go to bed.) I hope to find someone with the same mindfulness. I am fairly quiet, enjoy company and enjoy quiet time too. I don't have alot of company over, though occasionally a few neighbours will get together for a fire in the back yard (when there isn't a ban). I am usually found outdoors on time off, hiking, paddling, working in the yard, crafting/painting. I share the house with a friendly dog, cat and small bird. I unfortunately cannot allow any more pets in my home. I am professionally employed in Natural Resource Management Enforcement. Shared furnished open floor plan/living space of kitchen, living room, bathrooms, fenced yard with private patio in back and a small amount of storage space available in the garage. Parking available roadside. The room is available on a month-to-month basis or seasonal for one person and may consider longer term dependant on situation.
