Fairdale Weekender. a "light-tourer" that works as a weekday commuter and a weekend getaway machine. The riding position is comfortable for the long haul or an evening ride. It's a 9 speed SRAM with mechanical disc brakes. Chromoly frame and fork with rack and fender mounts. Has full fenders and a Tubus Airy titanium carrier. This carrier holds the world record for its carrying capacity to weight ratio. It can carry more than 100 times its own weight. The AIRY was the first rear bike rack in the world made out of the very hard to process material titanium. Titanium is not only very light and high-tensile, it is also extremely resistant to atmospheric attacks. The AIRY is nearly indestructible. Also have a waterproof Ortlieb Urban Commuter-Bag LARGE briefcase pannier for the rack - super handy for commuting and carrying small loads.
