My father is in his late 70's, spent his life working for Macmillan & Blodel in the Nanoose/Parksville setup. He is having a really hard time physically and has spent his savings going back and forth to Vancouver for specialist appointments. His dryer kicked it about a month ago and he was drying his clothes in front of the fireplace but now his washer has bit the dust. He didn't tell me because he is living cheque to cheque and knows I worry about him making ends meet. I don't have a lot of extra cash right now with just having Xmas but I can probably scrape together $100-$150, I know it's not a lot and I can barely go that much but we just need them to work for awhile. We can pick up, that's no problem..
