WHO YA GONNA CALL?? FLEC (FINDING LOST AND ESCAPED CATS) If your cat goes missing, it can be hard to think clearly through the worry and fear over what might have happened to your beloved cat. Here's the good news: WE CAN HELP FLEC (FINDING LOST AND ESCAPED CATS) is a wonderful group to contact if or when your cat goes missing. We are a small group of very skilled volunteers, who assist cat owners to get the word out on Social Media, report to all Authorities, such as the BCSPCA, Animal Control Services, and Vets Hospitals and Clinics, plus providing a poster to be printed off. We do not physically go out and search for cats as we do for dogs but do provide all the other services the same. REMEMBER Cats are very different then dogs and the process of finding a lost cat is different from that of a dog. Cats will hide. Cats will usually not go far from their homes unless chased out of their areas, but usually they will return. Cat will go into hiding and will tend to do that under buildings, in heavy bush, or under vehicles.
