A beautiful S. FIELDING & CO. Victorian floral pattern with embossed details and a scalloped, gold edge this chamber set includes the bowl and pitcher, as well as the matching chamber pot. It really makes you curious as to who may have used this set in the last century!! In April, 1913, King George V and Queen Mary visited Stoke-on-Trent and visited a number of potteries including the Devon Pottery. Did they perhaps see this very set? It is in not bad shape for over 100 yrs old! Crazing in glaze, as is to be expected. The Pitcher has tiny chip in the lip and a crack going down 3"; the Wash Bowl has a crack in the bottom; and the Chamber Pot has 1 small chip under the edge. The hand-painted details are very clear on the Bowl and Pitcher, but somewhat worn on the Chamber Pot.
