***Benefits start after probationary period completed*** $14-$16/hr to start depending on bookkeeping experience This position may qualify for a wage subsidy program if you have been on EI in the last 4 years Looking for an office administrator/bookkeeper for our company based out of Nanoose Bay. This is a full time position Monday - Friday 8:00-5PM(depending on the employee this schedule may be flexible). Must have own transportation to get to and from work Duties: Included but not limited to: - General office duties - Filing - Project cost tracking - Data entering - Accounts receivable - Track and submit employee timesheets - Booking appointments - Run errands for the business as needed Skills - Bookkeeping experience considered an asset - Proficient in English -written and oral - Strong ability to communicate - Excellent customer service - Experience with Microsoft Office, Quickbooks and Sage considered an asset Requirements - Minimum 2 years office/bookkeeping experience is preferred - Team player - Willing to submit criminal record check - Have clean current driver license - must provide a current drivers abstract - Occasional drug testing is company mandated for all staff - Must be willing to sign confidentiality agreement - References are required Thank you to all who apply, only those selected will be contacted.
