$25 · Accounts Payable Clerk ASAP start

Randstad is now looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Nanaimo for a 2-3 week contract. This is an ASAP start! This is a temporary opportunity that would look great on a resume for someone wanting the challenge. This role will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing tasks as well as ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. The AP Administrator, discretion, and confidentiality are paramount. The AP administrator will report to the AP Manager and the job description will include, but not limited to, the following responsibilities: Responsibilities: * Review and verify invoices and cheque requests; * 3-way PO matching; * Sort, code, and match invoices; * Set invoices up for payment; * Track expenses and process expense reports; * Prepare and perform check runs; * Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monthly credit card statements; * Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date; * Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues; * Maintain vendor files; * Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries; * Produce monthly reports; * Assist with month end closing; and * Assist with any other tasks as assigned by the department head. Requirements: * Diploma in accounting or similar standing; * 2-3 years accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment; * Working knowledge of SAP ERP or similar accounting software; and * Proficient in data entry and management * Strong written and verbal communication If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you! - Please email your resume to raj.sra@randstad.ca.
