Randstad is looking for an intermediate accountant in the Duncan area. This position is responsible for timely and accurate processing of tasks within the Accounting Department. They must communicate with their peers within the department to assure all transactions flow through the system with accuracy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor Pre-Paid and Accrual G\L accounts and prepare journal entries Prepare monthly journal entries for allocation of general expenses to departments as assigned. Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. Work with insurance providers on renewal data needed, setup and reconciling of prepaid transactions as well as claim accrual/deductible analysis across all divisions. Preparation of sales tax information Assist in internal audit testing of transactions Assist in responding to audit selections and questions as assigned. Assist in responding to Help Desk calls on general accounting and system questions EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS Four-year degree in Accounting or an Associates Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years General Accounting experience SKILLS / COMPETENCIES Intermediate/advanced skills in Excel as well as integrated accounting software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team Excellent organizational skills.
