$950 · 1991 Toyota Celica GT

This was my commuter for the past few years but I don't really need it anymore. No sense in letting it sit. Not a bad little car. No rust, runs well. AC blows cold. In past few years I've rebuilt the distributor, resealed front of engine, various seals and gaskets. (common issues for the 5sfe) Did the tbelt a couple years ago, it's a non interference engine which is kinda nice. Short throw shifter. Front brakes are only a year or two old. (Pads rotors and calipers) 17" douchebag rims, and the originals with tires are included (14" I think) Aftermarket deck with USB. Interior isn't bad, dash vents are a little beat up from previous owners cupholder, needs a good vacuum but my shopvac is dead so that'll have to wait. Issues it has, it uses a little oil, not sure if it's a leak or burn, probably a bit of both. They do like to leak these cars ;) Clear coat is pealing in some spots. Has a bit of a shimmy on highway, probably tires, they're not the newest. Rotating them might clear it up. It's almost 30 years old and under a thousand bucks, so if you're reading this you're not expecting perfection. Located in cedar, it's not insured but it's a fairly quiet road for a quick test burn. With the covid thing, I'd ask that you wear gloves and a mask when inside the car if you could. I'll wipe it down between test drives but the gloves and mask are to protect you not me.
